1. Who we are (Aviso Legal)
LumioHR (lumio-hr.com) is operated by Mercy Maestro Goodrich, NIF: 72497693Z, based in San Sebastián (Gipuzkoa), Spain. Contact: hello@lumio-hr.com. This section is provided in compliance with Spain's Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE).
2. What LumioHR is — and isn't
LumioHR is an AI-powered knowledge platform. It retrieves and synthesizes information from documented sources — company policies, handbooks, and publicly available employment-law references — to deliver grounded, cited answers for informational and operational decision-support purposes. LumioHR is not a law firm, and its output does not constitute legal advice or create any attorney-client relationship. Employment law changes frequently and varies by jurisdiction, and AI-generated responses may contain errors or omissions. Verify time-sensitive or high-stakes matters with a qualified employment lawyer or official government source before acting on them.
3. Free tier and fair use
- The free tier includes up to 10 questions per day to Ask LumioHR, per user.
- We may enforce this limit technically (including by IP address or device) and may adjust free-tier limits at any time.
- You may not attempt to circumvent usage limits, automate or script requests, scrape the service, resell access, or use LumioHR to build a competing dataset or product.
- We may suspend or block access that violates these terms or degrades the service for others.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't submit unlawful content or content you don't have the right to share.
- Don't submit other people's personal or sensitive data into the free chat.
- Don't use the service to harass, discriminate, or attempt to generate unlawful employment practices.
5. Paid plans
Paid plans, pricing, and included features are described on our pricing page. Founding-member pricing applies as described at the time of purchase. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.
6. Intellectual property
The LumioHR name, site, and content are ours. Templates and documents we provide are licensed to you for use within your organization; you may not resell or redistribute them as templates.
7. No warranty and limitation of liability
LumioHR is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on the information provided, for indirect or consequential losses, or for service interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under Spanish and EU consumer protection rules.
8. Privacy
How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and disputes are subject to the courts of San Sebastián, Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
